Trade terms

GENERAL

All purchases via the Arctic Juice & Café website or related application are made directly with Arctic Juice & Café (subsequently referred to as “AJ&C” or “we”). 

All prices are inclusive of VAT and are subject to change without notice. 

We reserve the right to cancel orders without prior notice due to typographical errors, technical errors, changes in VAT and taxes, sold out items or force majeure. 

 

PAYMENTS

Debit cards are the most secure form of payment online. As a consumer, you are insured against fraud and missing deliveries. You will be able to claim the amount paid back at any time (in the event of a dispute, the amount will be withheld by your bank until a possible court settles the dispute).

 

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT

The amount will not be charged to your card until the goods are picked up or shipped from AJ&C. A greater amount can never be deducted than what you approved for the purchase

 

CANCELATION

As a consumer you have 14 days to cancel when you shop with us. 

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received your item. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the deadline starts from the day you receive the last item. If the order consists of several lots or parts, the cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive the last lot or the last lot. The deadline implies that you have 14 days from receipt to notify us that you will cancel your purchase. You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the item without notifying us at the same time. 

If you purchased several items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order.

RETURNS

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase, you should immediately return the item to us. The deadline for this expires 14 days after you have notified us that you have canceled your purchase. However, you yourself are responsible for the goods during the period and thus the risk of the goods going to waste. Please read more below.

 

CONDITIONS

During the cancellation period, you are responsible for the goods being processed properly. Thus, you are liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods if the returned goods are not suitable for resale.

 Upon receipt of the item, you must examine the item to determine the nature, characteristics of the item, and how it works. You can thus “try” the product in the same way as if you had bought it in a physical store. 

 

REPAYMENT

If you cancel your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item is impaired, as described above, we will deduct the amount you are liable for. 

We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional delivery costs in the event that you have chosen a different delivery method than the cheapest form of standard delivery we offer, as well as the return shipping cost if we have provided the return shipping), within 14 days from the day we received your message that you want to cancel the agreement. 

We will refund the money with the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise. We can withhold payment until we receive the item unless you send us documentation via e-mail to have it returned to operations@arcticjuicecafe.com 

 You can also cancel the purchase by notifying us and delivering it in person at the above address. We do not receive parcels without distribution or parcels sent by mail cash on delivery (COD).

 

DEFECT, FLAWS, DEFICIENCIES

 Your right of complaint covers defects and defects in the goods at the time of delivery. You should therefore immediately upon receipt of the shipment, open it and evaluate the goods. Errors and deficiencies should be informed to us at email: operations@arcticjuicecafe.com 

If possible, preferably with pictures. For limited life items, your right of complaint is limited to the shelf life that is customary for that item. If you find a defect in a purchased item, it is important that you contact us as soon as possible and within a reasonable time. We will always expect you to contact us regarding the issue before returning the item. 

If your complaint is justified, it means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, money back or a discount in price, depending on the specific situation. 

If the complaint is justified, we will reimburse your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be shipped back in proper packaging and remember to get a receipt for shipping so that we can reimburse your shipping costs.  

When returning the item, please include a detailed description of the problem.

SOLD OUT ITEMS

If an item is sold out or unavailable, we will replace it as far as possible with an equivalent item if the alternative is identical to the original item. In cases that cannot be immediately replaced with a similar item, you will receive an email where you can choose whether you want us to try to get the item, which will mean that the order is postponed. You can also choose here if you want to accept the defect and we will send the rest of the order. Or if you want to cancel the order completely. 

If the order has been ordered with payment via credit card and the item cannot be delivered and no alternative can be found, we will deliver the rest of the order and deduct only the amount corresponding to the goods delivered on the credit card.

 

COOKIES

Cookies are used to optimise the website and its functionality, making the visit as easy as possible for you.

You can delete cookies from your computer at any time, depending on your browser.

 

LOG STATISTICS

We use a log statistic which means that a statistics system collects information which can give a statistical picture of how many visitors we have, where they come from and where on the website it is abandoned etc. The log statistics are used only for internal analysis.

 
PRIVACY POLICY

We need the following information when you shop with us: Name, address, telephone number, email address.
We record and disclose the personal information needed to deliver the item to you.

The personal data is registered with AJ&C  and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.

We also cooperate with a number of other companies that store and process data. Companies only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection.

You have the right to be informed what information we process about you. If you believe the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we have an obligation to delete your personal data if you request it. It can for example. be if your data is no longer needed for the purpose for which we were going to use it. ABUSE OR HACKING

In the event of any abuse or hacking of the website shop, we reserve the right to cancel orders and related deliveries.
